About Us

Founded in 2007, Dynamic Solar delivers turnkey solar electricity (PV) systems for grid-tied commercial and government customers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware and is a Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection approved solar contractor. We provide our clients with the financial and tax expertise necessary to structure and finance solar projects that maximize return on investment. Our team's solar and construction background and local relationships provide us with real world experience in delivering results quickly and cost-effectively. Our engineering and installation professionals are licensed and have an average of 20+ years in their respective fields. Our installers have received solar PV training from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners and Solar Energy International.

Management

Michael Perillo, CPA, CVA

CEO, President & Co-founder

Michael Perillo is responsible for the financial management, PV procurement and strategy at Dynamic Solar. Mike utilizes his expertise as a CPA to assist each of our customers in fully understanding all of the economic costs and benefits of their investment in solar energy. Mike started his career with Coopers & Lybrand and spent 12+ years in various financial management positions at publicly-traded and privately-held companies in the consumer products, materials, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries. He has advised numerous energy related companies ranging from utility to energy infrastructure to renewable energy companies.

Mike is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst and received his MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business as well as his B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Michael R. Cromer, P.G.

Director of Commercial Development

Michael Cromer is responsible for permitting, engineering oversight and company operations at Dynamic Solar. Mr. Cromer has more than 10 years of experience in the environmental engineering field. He is a licensed Professional Geologist in Delaware and Pennsylvania with a broad range of experience working in the Mid-Atlantic region in the fields of solid waste management, land development, Brownfield redevelopment, industrial compliance, site remediation, water and wastewater utility permitting and construction management. Before joining Dynamic Solar, Mr. Cromer started a renewable energy services division within his previous firm. He gained experience in site development and permitting for ground based solar farms and commercial rooftop systems. Mike’s diverse background results in seamless permitting and overall project efficiency.

Mike has received a B.S. degree in Geo-environmental Studies from Shippensburg University and a M.S. in Earth Science/Hydrology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Geoffrey S. Underwood

Vice President, Business Development

Geoffrey Underwood is responsible for business development, project economic analysis, and the growth of Dynamic Solar's sREC (solar renewable energy credit) customer support and trading program. Prior to joining Dynamic, Geoff was a start-up consultant for Florida Sun Solar, a pre-market solar financing and project development firm. Previously Geoff was senior associate at FBR Capital Markets responsible for market and equity analysis of renewable energy firms and authored a seminal supply-demand analysis of the solar space. Geoff's fifteen year career in Washington, DC includes significant work in energy policy and economics, business and venture development, and work with federal agencies, Congress and the White House.

Mr. Underwood received his BA from the University of Florida and his MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Mr. Underwood is a registered broker and holds a number of SEC/FINRA licenses.
